Susan Catalano is a second grade teacher at Mission Park Elementary School
in Salinas, California. She has been teaching elementary age children for 25 years.
After reading and viewing programs about Feng Shui, she became interested in seeing if
the principles of Feng Shui could be incorporated into her classroom. Susan discovered
that specific colors and strategic placement of furniture had a significant impact
upon her students. She believes that Feng Shui creates the harmony and balance
needed to make learning successful.
Evie Bolante has been an elementary-grade teacher
for 30 years and is currently serving as Literacy Coach at Loma Vista Elementary
School in Salinas, California. She has been using many principles of Feng Shui
in her classroom and has found it to have a subtle but profound effect, both for her
and her students, thus creating a learning environment that promotes balance and harmony.
With that in place, teaching became pleasant and productive.
